Exploring the Enchanted Highway - A Video Adventure

I’m excited to share a new video I created, and I hope to highlight more of these in the coming months. My video editing skills are still a work in progress! That said, I’d love to hear any feedback you have. And if you’ve ever traveled this route, I’d love for you to share your own stories.

In this video, my family and I traveled the Enchanted Highway in North Dakota, a unique roadside attraction brought to life by artist Gary Greff. Gary grew up in the small town of Regent, South Dakota, but like many young adults, he left to pursue a career—in his case, in education. Later in life, he returned to Regent and saw an opportunity to breathe new life into the quiet town. His idea? Build some of the world’s largest scrap metal sculptures along a stretch of North Dakota highway. The result is the Enchanted Highway—a whimsical, larger-than-life roadside gallery.

Each sculpture along the route is unique, telling a different story and offering interactive experiences, often with activities for kids and families. It’s a drive that blends art, adventure, and a touch of magic.
